Jen Crow, Scheer.Law PLLC
Jen is a Founding Partner at Scheer.Law PLLC in Portland, Oregon. Her practice focuses on construction defect, personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation. She is licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana, as well as multiple U.S. District Courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jennifer has successfully tried cases to verdict in several states and regularly represents clients in mediations, arbitrations, and appeals.

She is also a key member of the firm’s Rapid Response Team, handling emergency investigations of major transportation accidents involving commercial vehicles. Prior to joining Scheer.Law, she worked at a Portland insurance defense firm and has a background in operations finance, which informs her work with business clients.

Jennifer is active in professional organizations, including the Trucking Industry Defense Association and the International Association of Defense Counsel. She holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Finance from Oregon State University.

Beth Fitch, Righi Fitch Law Group 
Beth is a founding member of Righi Fitch Law Group and a seasoned trial attorney with over 35 years of civil defense experience. She holds an AV Preeminent Rating and has defended numerous multimillion-dollar cases involving catastrophic injury, construction defect, and professional liability. Recognized as a Southwest Super Lawyer since 2013 and a 2017 Business Insurance Women to Watch Honoree, Beth brings deep expertise to complex tort litigation.

Beth is also certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (CIPP/US) and leads her firm’s data response team. She counsels clients on cyber risk, data privacy, and serves as a breach coach in response to cyber exploits. As Co-Dean of the CLM School of Cyber Claims, she advises on cyber liability involving PII, PHI, and PCI.

A third-generation Arizonan from a family of entrepreneurs, Beth understands business challenges and approaches every case with strategic, results-driven solutions.

Rebecca Newmann, Rhodes Hieronymus 
Rebecca focuses her practice on litigation with an emphasis on civil defense. Her experience spans commercial litigation, insurance defense, products liability, and trust disputes. She represents clients in both state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. Rebecca is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Missouri, and the Muscogee (Creek) Nation District Court.

Rebecca earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude with departmental honors from the University of Oklahoma and her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. While in law school, she developed a strong passion for community service, founding a hospital-based "Reverse Trick or Treating" program and helping launch a lending library at St. Francis Children’s Hospital.

She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute.

Lisa Slotkin, Zarwin Baum
Lisa is the Managing Shareholder of Zarwin Baum’s Northern New Jersey office and Co-Chair of the firm’s Casualty & Professional Liability Defense Practice Group. She focuses on professional liability, defending lawyers, insurance agents, realtors, title agents, and other professionals in malpractice and negligence claims. Lisa also handles employment practices and liquor liability cases, construction accidents, and insurance coverage disputes. She is certified in U.S. Privacy and Data Protection (CIPP/US) and litigates in both state and federal courts across New Jersey, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and New York.

A Temple Law graduate, Lisa joined Zarwin Baum in 1994 and opened the firm’s Jersey City office in 1999. Under her leadership, the office has grown to six attorneys. She has been named a New Jersey Super Lawyer multiple times and was twice recognized as one of the state’s top 50 female attorneys. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys travel, food, reading fiction, and beach escapes.

Melissa Zoldan, Gallo Vitucci Klar
Melissa specializes in the defense of malpractice claims for nursing homes, physicians, dentists, hospitals, and other healthcare providers in New York and New Jersey. With over 20 years of experience, she also handles general personal injury and excess casualty claims.

Melissa has lectured on legal seminars for healthcare professionals, focusing on quality assurance in nursing homes and long-term care facilities, as well as assisting in the defense of lawsuits. She has also provided continuing education seminars for attorneys. Her experience extends to real estate closings, misdemeanor defense, and traffic violations across New York and New Jersey.

Melissa has appellate experience, having written briefs and argued cases in the New York Appellate Divisions. She has also implemented law firm quality assurance programs for carriers to improve claims administration.

She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and several U.S. District Courts. Melissa holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and a J.D. from Touro College.
